If you're looking for a luxurious escape to the piney woods of southeast Oklahoma, Idle Bliss is the perfect cabin for you! This 2 Bedroom; 2 1/2 Bath cabin features an open floor plan which allows guests to relax in the living area while also visiting with friends in the fully-stocked kitchen.
You'll sleep so soundly in either of the cabin's 2 King Bedrooms with high-end furnishings and luxurious linens. Each bedroom also connects to amazing bathrooms each with over-sized showers, and double vanities with granite countertops. Additionally, we have a queen sleeper sofa in the family room for extra guests.
At the end of a day spent exploring the Ouachita National Forest along the hiking trails in Beavers Bend State Park or boating on beautiful Broken Bow Lake, relax with your favorite beverage in the large hot tub under cover on the back patio. Or, roast S'mores over the firepit under the stars! You'll certainly feel refreshed and rejuvenated after an enjoyable stay at Idle Bliss!

This property did not disappoint! The house itself is gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well appointed and a delight to cook in. One of the smartest things about this property is how light switches and kitchen cupboards were clearly labeled. I've stayed in other properties and spent the whole time trying to figure out the light fixture situation. We spent the majority of our time on the back deck enjoying the scenery and seclusion. And while we didn't have any issues during our stay, the communication from the property management company could not have been better. I'm sure if we'd had an issue, the response would have been quick and satisfactory!

The cabin was beautiful, the back porch was awesome. The only problem was one of the tv's in the bedrooms was not working, but we were giving an extra day for that problem. The only thing that I would change is the mattresses in the bedrooms, it was like sleeping on a flat rock. We will be renting from you again.

Idle bliss is a great modern farmhouse cabin. The back offered a large yard with a fire pit, hot tub, horse shoes, corn hole, outdoor fireplace and tv and a large seating area. Inside both bedrooms and bathrooms were identical. There was a half bath so you didn’t have to go into bedrooms all the time. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this cabin to a couple with a kid or two or two couples.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of creating lasting memories now for 9 years in Broken Bow... and Lakewood Luxury Cabins has been our go to management company when we want to book a cabin. This trip we stayed at Idle Bliss June 2-5th and our experience was nothing short of perfect! The cabin is outfitted with modern touches throughout, 2 kings size beds comfortable for a good nights sleep, private attached bathrooms with walk-in showers, BLACK OUT curtains so you can sleep-in until well past the roosters crow, fully stocked kitchen, fridge with filtered water, and a perfectly appointed patio with a sectional, TV and gas fireplace. Due to the time of year, if you dislike spiders be aware because you will see plenty of daddy long-legs roaming the patio and surrounding areas.

The only drawback (if I really had to nit pick) is that none of the extras are provided such as shampoo, lotion, or even Kleenex! So make sure to bring your own!

For the pet owners who bring their family loved one along for the journey, be aware that the grounds are not pet friendly (no cabin in Broken Bow really is - they have jagged rocks) and is one luxury detail that needs some attention. Brenda/Lakewood Luxury, please consider adding a little pet area for pets to do their outdoor business on, such as turf so it can be hosed off. I know our little furry friend's paw would thank you lovingly.

Overall, we LOVED Idle Bliss and are already talking about our next trip to any of the number of Lakewood Luxury properties. Until next time....

Idle Bliss was a beautiful modern cabin that is the perfect size for a couple or small family. The bedrooms have comfy king sized beds. The attached bathrooms have wonderful walk-in showers! The only drawback is that none of the extras are provided such as shampoo, lotion, or even Kleenex! So make sure to bring your own!

The back porch is a great place to hang out, read, or enjoy the sounds of the woods. The cabin is located far enough from the highway that you don’t hear the logging trucks or traffic noises, but it does sit back from a gravel road. Be prepared to be dusted if the wind is coming out of the north any time a vehicle rumbles past while enjoying the porch.

Chrystal was wonderful! She quickly answered any questions or concerns we had. I would recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone who wants to get away and just relax!

Idle Bliss worked out well for our family...3 adults, one 14 year old and one 7 year old. Two nice master bedrooms with king beds and bathrooms with double sinks made it very comfortable. One slept on the pullout and had the half bathroom. Open concept which gave us plenty of room. Loved the corn hole, Jenga, horseshoes. Nice patio...may want to bring your own fan. Property was ready for us when we arrived. Only improvement I would say, is to make sure that the front door entrance is swept for webs.

This cabin is amazing! It has everything you need and then some! We took our 11 month old and was surprised that the cabin was stocked with kids dinnerware! Which was great bc this momma forgot to pack a couple of baby bowls so that was very nice! The outside was our favorite on the back deck! Huge hot tub! Nice outdoor patio furniture with a fireplace and tv. We didn’t use the tv outside but instead listened to the tree frogs! It was so peaceful and at night we turned on the outside decorative lights the owners put out that were so nice! I would love to have this cabin again in a heartbeat!

We frequent Broken Bow and stay at different cabins each time. This was our favorite thus far. Very clean. You can tell its newer. Loved that it is set back from the road a little bit. The patio was probably our favorite...love the gas fireplace there, the comfy seating (great place for me to work a little each morning, and the kids loved the hot tub. There is a hammock out near the campfire--wonderful looking up at the trees while laying there. We had a campfire each night and appreciated having the string lights around that area. Both bedrooms are close to the same size and finish-out, each with its own nice bathroom and walk-in shower. The cabin itself is on a main road but there are only a few cabins past it, so really the only traffic down the road was some construction vehicles working on new cabins. The only thing I would probably change as a renter is I would bring a small step stool for the kids as the bathroom counter height is tall and they couldn't reach sink. The only thing I might suggest to the cabin owner is perhaps some additional storage space in kitchen somehow as we brought all our own groceries and staples and the kitchen is well-supplied by the owner but it didn't leave much room for us to put stuff away so the countertops were full the whole time of ingrediants. Also--realized AFTER the kids got ready for hot tub the first night that someone had put the hot tub into an idle mode or something, so it didn't get heated up until after well after they were in bed so maybe just check that when you get there...though I think it was a random mistake and cabin owner was helpful in trying to figure out the issue. Overall, loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends who are going to visit Broken Bow without hesitation. It'll be hard for me to book other cabins, not knowing if they will be as good as this one!

Not only were we able to get the whole project mapped out, but we rested well, laughed, and enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Overall, it was just the retreat we wanted and didn't know we needed!

Fantastic cabin and accommodations. Love, love, love the cabin design! Thanks to Brenda, Rose and Misty for their attentiveness when we came across a hump. Everything was set up perfect from booking to when we left. Just a small concern, in that other cabins that are currently building might not give us that privacy.

We could not be more pleased with our stay at Idle Bliss. The home is immaculately clean with thoughtful design touches. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware include pyrex dishes, toaster, crock pot, blender, and coffee machine. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious - perfect for the 3 of us who were looking for a relaxing weekend away from COVID-19 chaos. The bedrooms are dark with thick blinds and curtains allowing for a dark and quiet sleeping experience. The back porch was our favorite - with a TV, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, and lots of outdoor games such as horseshoes and corn hole. I highly recommend this home for girlfriends, small families, and partners who want a place to relax and recharge. Note that the entrance is steep with lots of gravel. It can be tricky for anyone who may have limited mobility.

We stayed for three nights with another couple. This place is set up perfectly for that. Cabin and outdoors was immaculately clean and decorated beautifully. They had everything we needed for grilling and cooking. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. Really just very well thought out space. It’s also located close enough yet far enough away from all the Hochatown happenings. We’ll definitely be back.
