Nik's Nest is the perfect cabin for a small family or for 2 couples with kids. It features 2 king bedrooms and 2 full baths, each with beautiful tile showers. The cabin also has 2 roll-away beds in each bedroom. So, the cabin sleeps 6 or even 7 with someone sleeping on the large sectional in the family room. The open floor plan of Nik's Nest is perfect to relax in front of the gas-log fireplace while the chef of the group prepares a nice meal in the fully-stocked kitchen. After dinner, guests can relax in the hot tub under cover on the back deck next to the outside gas-log fireplace. The deck also has a large Smart TV for sports fans and music lovers. The outdoor chef of the group will love the propane gas grill. For entertainment, challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes and ladder ball out back. And, spend family time around a roaring fire at the fire pit with free firewood provided. Roast marshmallows, tell tall tales of the fish you missed that day, or just enjoy time together. Your stay at Nik's Nest will surely be filled with happy memories!

  We have just had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Nik's Nest cabin which had everything we needed for relaxing, indulging, and enjoying fun time family. We loved our quiet time away in such an amazing setting. We will definitely be back! The customer service was exceptional before, during and after our stay, and we could not ask for more. The only caution I would give is with the excessive potholes in the woodland roads of the approach to the cabin. Hopefully some maintenance is scheduled for them soon.

  We had a fantastic time. Grand children loved the outdoor fire pit, not to mention the push button outdoor and indoor fire places. Flat screen TV in bedrooms was a bit as well. The island kitchen was nice. More than 1 person could help cook. Vaulted glass wall in living room gave lots of natural light. Stackable washer/dryer was nice as well.

  The cabin had a great layout and we especially appreciated the two King master bedrooms. It was very clean with all amenities that were listed. Convenient location to good restaurants and Hochatown activities, although as one reviewer stated the road to the cabin is pretty rough...we were in a crossover vehicle and just took it slow to avoid huge potholes. Although close to other cabins, you felt secluded. We would love to return in cooler weather to enjoy outside activities. Would highly recommend Nik's Nest!!

My daughter even saw a deer run across the property one morning. We loved watching the birds and squirrels. Great getaway for our family. And, just a few minutes from town.

  We loved our escape from the big city! Quiet and relaxing. Cabin was nice, clean and well equipped. I felt the cabin was secluded but I could still see and hear the neighbors, so I wish it was a little more quiet and separated. Kids loved the hot tub and the yard games. Deck was nice and where we spent most of our time. We couldn’t get the tv to work on the deck. It wouldn’t even turn on at all, so it may need replaced. The dishwasher wasn’t secure in the cabinet and would come out. It would have been nice to have some rugs but the bedside to clean your feet off before getting into bed, just a thought. Overall we had a great time and would come back.

  Nik’s Nest is a perfect getaway for a family or two couples. I came with my family for 5 nights leading up to New Year’s. The cabin is located in a great neighborhood, which we walked every day, and is beautiful. It’s bright, airy, and has all the amenities you need. The kids loved the fire pit and the hot tub, plus it’s close to all the activities in town. The rental process was easy and the hosts easily accessible if needed.

  We loved our stay at Nik's Nest. The cabin was so pretty, new & clean. They provided everything we needed during our stay.We loved it was pet friendly yet very clean. We enjoyed the Hot Tub, making Smores over the fire pit outside, cooking on the grill as well as in the pretty kitchen. The location was great. Not far from the Marina where we spent a day on the lake. It was beautiful & so much fun! Also not a bad drive to Wild Goose Kayaking. We had so much fun Kayaking as well! The only drawbacks were the road getting to the cabin. They were filled with huge potholes & very dusty. Also it was very difficult finding restaurants that were open in the area.We did order & pick up Pizza from Grateful Head Pizza which was amazing! We also went to Pruitts Grocery, purchased food & cooked at the cabin. Again we loved our stay at the cabin itself! In fact we wanted to stay an extra day. We called & they immediately approved our staying an extra day. They were so accommodating We definitely would love to come back!
