The Roosevelt, situated on the edge of Ouachita National Forest, is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway in nature. This brand new cabin is a spacious one bedroom with all the comforts of home named after the founder of the national park system, Theodore Roosevelt.

This secluded cabin features a king bedroom with an Original Tuft & Needle Mattress, a luxurious bathroom with large walk-in shower and soaking tub with a completely private view of the forest. The cabinet in the living room opens into a queen sized bed, just right if you’ve brought the kids along. You won’t miss a thing whipping up a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. Have a cup of coffee on the front deck listening to all nature has to offer!

Enjoy an evening in front of the gas fireplace in the living room or soaking in the hot tub located on the deck right off the bedroom! You’ll have plenty of space to enjoy a meal or work a jigsaw puzzle at the beautiful wood and resin dining table. There is also extra seating at the island in the kitchen.

The back deck not only boosts quiet views of the National Forest, but a dining area, gas grill, outdoor lounge and gas fireplace. Steps off the back deck you’ll find a firepit for enjoying s'mores or stargazing.

The Roosevelt is conveniently located off of Carson Creek Road near Beaver’s Bend State Park. Just down Carson Creek Road you will find beautiful Broken Bow Lake with a swimming/picnic area and a boat ramp.

  We enjoyed out stay at The Roosevelt. There was firewood, the cabin was cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked and large enough to cook in, and it was very relaxing. We love this location- being so close to hiking trails and not in a crowded "neighborhood" helped us feel like we were getting away from it all. Booking was easy, and we will likely return.

  My husband and I needed a quick and easy escape from our hectic ranch life in Hallettsville, TX. We searched for luxury cabins near us and Lakewood Cabins came up. We never heard of Broken Bow, nor would we have thought to vacation in Oklahoma. Since we wanted to skip the hassle of airport travel we decided to book with Lakewood. The cabin was beautiful, luxurious, and better than the photos. The Roosevelt was nestled in the trees away from the other cabins. We enjoyed the quiet solitude, deck, hot tub, games, and even the rain during the evening. We also enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, and shopping during the day. We didn’t know Broken Bow and Lakewood Cabins would be such a great escape! We do now and so do all our friends and family!

  The house was in a great location. It is in a neighborhood of sorts but is at the end of a dead end and feels very secluded. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we could need. The back patio and fire pit were great. Highly recommend this place!

  If you are looking for a weekend getaway, I highly recommend The Roosevelt. This place is fantastic! Tucked away at the end of a dead end street you feel like you are in the middle of the woods, but only two minutes away from Hochatown attractions. The cabin was spotless and very well appointed. This will not be our last stay at The Roosevelt. Very impressed!

  We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean and it had everything we needed. I only found one dish cloth to use. I just got a clean washcloth from the bathroom and used that when the dish cloth was dirty.
  My husband and I stayed four days in the cabin for my birthday. It was the best birthday present ever!
  We truly enjoyed every minute. The cabin is so beautiful. I am sure we will be back to stay in it again!

  My only suggestion would be to put TV instructions inside the cabin and some gravel on the muddy spots in the drive. Other than that everything was perfect!

  The cabin is absolutely beautiful and is the most secluded cabin we’ve stayed at in Broken Bow. We brought our dog (miniature schnauzer) and she LOVED being able to look out the windows because they were low enough for her! Having the forest directly behind the cabin was wonderful, everything was very quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted! We have stayed in many cabins over the past several years but this is the first one that we said “we’re staying here again!”

  This is our third stay at a Lakewood Luxury Cabin. Once again it did not disappoint. They do things right! We felt like the bed was too firm for our tastes so they quickly responded with a new mattress pad which helped. We felt like the property was in a perfect location for a peaceful couples getaway. Be advised if you book here that as mid June 2022 there were no window/door coverings in the bedroom or living/kitchen--only the master bath. This was a disappointment for us. We felt like that should be standard for a high quality rental.

  We had an amazing time, this cabins are equipped with everything you need, Even games for kids and adults. My girls loved the jacuzzi.
  The only thing that I noticed is that the windows don’t have any curtains, I feel that people should have the option of block the windows at night if they want to. Other than that it’s a great place to spend some quality time with your family.

  We did the self check in on a Friday afternoon & self check out on a Sunday morning. No issues. This cabin is brand new and extremely nice. I was a bit leery when booking due to the price & it was our first trip to the area but I will say this cabin is worth every penny. It was clean, plenty of towels, paper towels, TP, dishwashing soap, coffee, etc.....this owner definitely understands what customers are looking for. The area is quiet and lots of deer/wildlife to see. Great patio setup with a gas grill(brand new), outdoor TV and a brand new hot tub. Cabin is about 2-3 miles from restaurants, shops, etc. but you don't get any of the traffic on the main highway. We never saw anyone near the property at any time. I would definitely book this for another vacation

  This cabin is wonderful, the pics are great, but it is even better in person. The back patio is so peaceful in the evening and so relaxing, just what we were looking for. We were fortunate to find this at the last minute and we doubt once the word gets out it will be available the next time! We will definitely want to stay at the Roosevelt again or even look at some other Lakewood Luxury cabins in the future.
